What is the difference between weather and climate?
What impacts have human activities had on the weather in the last century?
According to NASA, 97 percent or more of actively publishing climate scientists agree: climate-warming trends over the past century are extremely likely due to human activities. In addition, most of the leading scientific organizations worldwide have issued public statements endorsing this position. That being said, there are plenty of people (not scientists) who refute the idea that human activity is causing global warming. Why do you think climate change/global warming is a controversial subject?

Climate is the general temperature and conditions of an area. Weather is a temporary change in this climate. Human activities have disoriented some of Earth’s natural weather. More or less rainfall has been detected, and some areas have become more warm. Climate Change/global warming is a controversial topic become some people underestimate the true affect humans have on the planet. The burning of fumes constantly and deforestation are activites that take away factors which allow Earth to function as intended.

Climate is the average weather conditions in a region over a long time period. While weather is the state the atmosphere is in at the moment. Ever since the industrial revolution humans have had a major impact on the weather. Burning fossil fuels generates carbon dioxide which makes the earth hotter. Also, greenhouse gases in the environment change the balance of gases which will change if the weather is cool or hot. Global warming is a controversial topic because some people want to take care of the earth and live longer on it. People underestimate the effects we cause to our own environment because it’s scary to think we may not live here if we continue the same practices.

The difference between weather and climate is a measure of time. Weather is what conditions of the atmosphere are over a short period of time, and climate is how the atmosphere "behaves" over relatively long periods of time. So bacially weather is what you get, and climate is what you expect.

Climate is what the atmosphere does and weather is the conditions of the atmosphere.Human activities contribute to climate change by causing changes in the earths atmosphere in the amounts of greenhouse gases. The largest know contribution comes from the burning of fossil fuels which releases carbon dioxide gas to the atmosphere.
